About Orient Express
The Orient Express was a luxury train service created in 1883 by Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits. A myth for over 135 years, Orient Express remains the symbol of luxury travel and timeless refinement. Orient Express was created in January 2015 to develop its eponymous brand and deploy it in the world of luxury and lifestyle, while respecting the history and values embodied by its legendary train. Cultivating the art of travel and hospitality initiated by Georges Nagelmakers in 1883, Orient Express hosts exceptional events aboard its fully restored historic cars. The multicultural heritage of the legendary train is now transported to a collection of Orient Express hotels, taking travellers on a captivating journey to elsewhere. About Arab World Institute (IMA)
The Arab World Institute is an organization founded in Paris in 1980 by 18 Arab countries with France to research and disseminate information about the Arab world, and its cultural and spiritual values. The Institute was established as a result of a perceived lack of representation for the Arab world in France, and seeks to provide a secular location for the promotion of Arab civilization, art, knowledge, and aesthetics.Designed to create some strong and sustainable cultural ties while cultivating constructive dialogues between the Arab World, France, and Europe, this cross-discipline space is the ideal place for the development of cultural projects, in collaboration with institutions, creators and thinkers from the Arab world. IMA also aims to create partnerships with non-governmental organizations, schools, and other renowned European cultural institutions. Since the creation of a new branch in Tourcoing in 2011, IMA has been able to spread its influence more widely in metropolitan France by responding to the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region's interest in expanding its cultural offer.
